Mark Shilstone

Mark Shilstone’s musical journey began nearly 60 years ago, strumming Kingston Trio songs at his elementary school’s PTA meetings. Since then, he’s fronted rock bands, played hundreds of bars and dinner houses, and shared the stage with legends like John Sebastian (The Lovin' Spoonful) and Roger McGuinn (The Byrds).

A seasoned solo performer, Mark has been featured at Traps at The Inn at Spanish Bay and is a regular favorite at Bernardus Tasting Room in Carmel Valley. You'll also find him performing at select venues throughout Carmel and Monterey.

 

​Mark’s setlist includes classic tunes from the ’60s and ’70s, original songs, unexpected standards, and a few modern surprises. For every “Hey Jude,” there’s a “She’s Leaving Home”—familiar favorites with unexpected turns. Yes, he even plays music from this century. Imagine that.
